Hunting & Fishing

Badger Creek Ranch is located in Game Management Units 57 and 58. With easy access to Black Mountain and Waugh Mountain the area is known for its prime elk, deer, bear and antelope hunting. Badger Creek itself, runs through the ranch and within a short distance opens up to some secluded and plentiful pools for great fishing.

The Arkansas River, famous for its fly fishing, is only a short drive from the ranch. Please refer to the Department of Wildlife's web site, www.wildlife.state.co.us for the most current rules, regulations and season dates. Applications for hunting licenses and tags are usually due in early April of each year. Fishing licenses can be purchased on line from the DOW, or at many sporting good stores locally.

We can accommodate 6-8 hunters comfortably. The bunkhouse has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with hot showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. A large common room offers plenty of room to dine, relax, and watch our satellite TV. All hunts are self guided.
