One-Day Ranch Experiences
We take pride in what we do as stewards of the land we love and have fun doing it. We want to share that with our guests. That means keeping it small and family-run, allowing for a uniquely intimate environment that will give you a richer, more personal, authentic experience.
Our ranch experiences are designed to offer something for everyone. Whether you come to Badger Creek to dive into horsemanship, learn about what we do here at the ranch and why, or simply retreat and relax at an off-the-grid remote location, we hope you can fully embrace the rhythm of a day on the ranch in whatever way best suits you.
We are committed to keeping Badger Creek Ranch as open space, a legacy of the American west and protecting the historical and cultural experiences the land holds.

Working Ranch Experience
Includes all meals, lodging and activities.
Pricing for bunkhouse rooms:
4 night (Sunday - Thursday) - $2,275/person
5 night (Sunday - Friday) - $2,690/person
Pricing for glamping tents:
4 night (Sunday - Thursday) - $1,980/person
5 night (Sunday - Friday) - $2,340/person

Check in is Sunday afternoon.
Max is 4- 5 riders per week.
Age: 13 and up.

Have you ever dreamed of living the life of a rancher? Come join our team for a unique experience; become part of our ranch crew, experiencing our day-to-day life of caring for our livestock and fulfilling our mission to serve, restore, and protect our ranch lands for many generations to come.
Working Ranch experience includes:
Build natural horsemanship skills
Move cattle on horseback and learn basic stockmanship
Learn about and help with our rotational grazing program, a key tool in land restoration
Learn about and observe riparian restoration projects
Mend fences
Feed and care for horses, sheep & guard dogs (Frankie and Gracie), pigs, and chickens
Horseback riding - some of our work is done on horseback. Be prepared to ride three days during your experience. Check out Horsemanship to get a better understanding of the riding offered with the Working Ranch experience.
Travel back in time with our draft horse team for a carriage ride and/or hauling supplies to a ranch project
Weekend Glamping Experience
Our 10’ x 12’ tent has two single beds and the 12’ x 14’ tent has a queen bed. Each tent has a small portable heater for chilly nights. Glampers have access to a shared bathroom (yes, there are hot showers!) which is only a few feet from the tents. Glampers also have access to the bunkhouse gathering room, which has a sink, small refrigerator and camping stove. There is also access to a BBQ grill and fire pit.
Pricing:
12’ x 14’ tent: $210 for single occupancy or $310 for double occupancy.
10’ x 12’ tent: $190 for single occupancy or $290 for double occupancy.
(7.4% sales & lodging tax not included)
Available on weekends beginning June 2 and ending on September 17, 2023.
